Vacancy: Business Development Manager
Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a top flight individual to play an instrumental role in developing business opportunities for LeftClick’s innovative e-commerce enhancement programmes.
LeftClick is seeking a competitive, goal oriented individual to join our team. The Business Development Manager will develop a superior understanding and selling capability for LeftClick’s service offerings, and will be responsible selling LeftClick’s services into geographic territories, target accounts, both directly and through partners.
The Business Development Manager will enjoy a mix of business development strategic planning, new client acquisition and existing client management.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue through both direct sales and partners to achieve assigned revenue/bookings quota.
- Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking and reporting.
- Develop a strategy and business plans with key accounts and territories.
- Evangelise and drive the proven capabilities of the LeftClick’s services to senior managers and marketers.
- Understand the profile of target clients and develop a qualified sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and partners.

- Attainment of sales targets
- Attainment of client acquisition targets
- Client satisfaction
- Account Management trust and confidence
- Promotion and market awareness of LeftClick
Requirements
- Strong enterprise sales background, 5+ years.
- Experience in e-commerce, marketing, advertising, and/or strategic sales desired.
- Proven performance in selling.
- Experience in managing, qualifying, and driving active lead and opportunity pipelines.
- Proven quota performance in channel or direct sales is a must.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a conscientious sales professional with drive and an energetic “can do” attitude.
- Good business background with technical understanding & credibility.
- Degree/MBA preferred.
Position Location
Canterbury Innovation Incubator, Christchurch, New Zealand. Note: LeftClick will shortly be relocating to a funky studio/loft style office space in the Lichfield Lanes area of Christchurch CBD or near vicinity.
